Pembroke Dock Fire Station Open Day Raises £1000 for Charity: IMG 4953

On Wednesday, 30 July, Pembroke Dock Fire Station proudly welcomed members of the local community to its Open Day, a successful event that raised £1,000 in support of The Fire Fighters Charity.

The event was officially opened by the Mayor of Pembroke Dock, Councillor Michele Wiggins, and offered a great opportunity for the public to meet their local crews and learn more about the vital work Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service carries out every day.

Visitors enjoyed a range of family-friendly activities including “Dunk the Firefighter”, face painting, and live rescue demonstrations. Attendees also took part in learning opportunities such as basic CPR awareness and fire safety education.

The event was supported by key partner agencies including Dyfed-Powys Police, the Welsh Ambulance Service, and Blood Bikes Wales. Charitable organisations such as the Welsh Air Ambulance and The Fire Fighters Charity were also in attendance.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service extends sincere thanks to all who attended and contributed to the day’s success.
