High Sheriffs visit Carmarthen Fire Station

All three High Sheriffs are newly sworn and were eager to learn more about how the Service works and the support we provide to the communities we serve.

They initially met with our Chief Fire Officer Roger Thomas who introduced them to our Executive Leadership Team, where they discussed our Emergency Response, Prevention and Protection work and our Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP 2040).

Followed by a tour of Carmarthen Fire Station, where they had the opportunity to meet representatives from our Community Safety team who provided some examples of the work they do to keep our communities safe.

To round off the afternoon, the crew from Carmarthen Fire Station provided an overview of the specialist kit and equipment carried on our frontline appliances.

We would like to thank all three High Sheriffs for taking time to come visit us and we look forward to seeing them again in the future.
